According to a recent article in the Chicago Tribune,
“A legal battle has erupted over a vacant piece of land located at the northeast corner of Butterfield Road and Illinois Route 53 near Glen Ellyn where a proposal to build a mega gas station was rejected last year by DuPage County board members.
“A federal lawsuit filed by Buck’s Inc. and the landowners, Nicolette R. Bauer and Raymond Bozicnick, both of Florida, calls DuPage County’s decision to reject the proposal ‘unreasonable’ and ‘unconstitutional.’
“In a federal lawsuit filed March 10, Buck’s Inc., based in Omaha, Neb., is asking the court to ‘void’ DuPage county’s refusal to issue a permit allow their plan to build a gas station and Bucky’s convenience store to move forward.”
