Pay your subscriber dues today and enjoy all membership benefits! The new membership year starts January 1st, and the last day to pay dues for the current year is June 30th.
Electronic Payment
The most convenient way to make sure your subscriber dues are paid on time every year is to set up an autopay for electronic payments. We encourage this as it make the process easier for everyone. To do so, please click on one of the links or buttons in the right-hand column of this page under the “Subscribe” tab to securely pay by credit card. Here is a description of the available options:
Noble Membership ($50): We recommend you select one of the button options in the “Noble Membership” section to the right as that is the most helpful to us financially, and will not only allow you to receive our popular print news journal, but will also unlock special premium services for you that we will be developing for you in the future. If you have an existing Basic ($25) or Enhanced ($35) membership and would like to upgrade to Noble, please email us at butterfieldhomeownersassoc@gmail.com and we will be happy to assist.
Enhanced Membership ($35): The Enhanced subscription level provides you with all the rights and privileges of BHA membership, as well as our popular, full-color print news journal, which is mailed out 4 times a year. By upgrading to the Enhanced level, you have decided to help the BHA cover for these costs, for which we thank you. If you have an existing basic membership and would like to upgrade to Enhanced, please email us at butterfieldhomeownersassoc@gmail.com and we will be happy to assist.
Basic Membership ($25): This is the traditional payment level that has remained unchanged since the 1990s (at least), and we have grandfathered it in here for those who wish to continue with their basic $25 membership payment. Members at this level will still receive electronic and essential print communications, but will not receive the print newsletter or have any special access privileges.

You will not receive the print newsletter if you are only subscribed at the Basic Membership level. If you wish to upgrade your membership to Enhanced or Noble in order to receive the print newsletter and other services, simply write a check for $35 for Enhanced, or $50 for Noble (or any amount above $50), and we will upgrade you accordingly. If you have an existing basic membership and would like to upgrade, please email us at butterfieldhomeownersassoc@gmail.com and we will be happy to assist.
Please note: as of July 1, 2022, all dues payments will go to the “new BHA”, the Butterfield Homeowners Administration, a for-profit organization that is owned and operated by President Doug Elwell that he formed to replace the old Butterfield Homeowners Association that was officially dissolved by the state of Illinois on March 31, 2022. The memberships of everyone from the old BHA who were invited to join the new BHA were automatically carried over to the new BHA, so if you were unaware of this and would prefer not to continue on with the new BHA, please send us an email at butterfieldhomeownersassoc@gmail.com or call us at 630-627-4845, and we will refund your money. Note that becoming a member only means that you will be subscribing to services, not investing in partial ownership. By paying your dues you are becoming a subscriber only.
