The Butterfield Park District is excited to announce that we intend to apply for an Open Space Land Acquisition and Development Grant for the next phase of Glenbriar Park. It is located north of the new development referred to as “The Glen” that was recently completed on the corner of Butterfield Road and Route 53. Because it has been a while since we have discussed this plan, we want to ask for additional input from the public to refresh/confirm the plan elements that are spelled out in the master plan, that was approved by the Board of Commissioners. Our intention is to consider the next phase of the Master Plan, while incorporating ideas, additions or concerns raised by our residents. We are planning public input meetings on August 7th at 3:00, outdoors at The Glen and August 17th , at 6:30 at The Glen. In addition, you will be given an opportunity to voice your opinions about ideas under consideration for development. We look forward to seeing you and welcome your input and ideas.
